is the Purpose of a Psychological Evaluation?
A comprehensive assessment is an essential 1st step in understanding
and addressing the difficulties your child is experiencing. At
Learning and Behavioral Disorders Diagnostic Center the assessments
are viewed as means for developing a deeper understanding of why
someone is not able to read, write, learn math and feel and behave
certain ways. The assessment results are used to recommend appropriate
research based interventions that are practical to implement within
school and home settings.

is Psychological Consultation?
The goal of consultation services at Learning and Behavioral
Disorders Diagnostic Center is to provide parents, educators
or organizations with a better understanding of the learning,
developmental, emotional, and behavioral problems seen in children
and adolescents and to develop research based interventions
for managing academic or behavioral difficulties.
